Top Green Beauty Subscription Boxes

It can be hard to find a natural beauty subscription box that you actually like and, believe me, I’ve struggled with the best of them. I went years subbing and un-subbing to box after box until I found a few that I really enjoy and find true value in what they offer. There’s a lot of fluff out there when it comes to beauty boxes so I wanted to share my top picks for the best of the best. No more time wasted; only beauty discoveries await you!

GoodBeing; $18-$21/Month

GoodBeing box is probably my favorite green beauty box simply because it’s both affordable and has great value. Every month, GoodBeing carefully curates a selection of samples, deluxe travel sizes, and sometimes even full-size products for its members to enjoy. All boxes are shipped for free in the USA so you never have to worry about extra costs. The only drawback with this box is that some months might feature off-the-radar products because they tend to focus on lesser-known and smaller indie brands. With that in mind, it’s a great box for discovering small or up and coming brands you might never see otherwise.

Beauty Heroes; $39/Month

Beauty Heroes is a great box for discovering new full size products every month. Even though its box is on the pricier side, it offers incredible value because it often shares full-size serums and balms which retail for more than $100 at only $39/box. You can’t beat that! Each box includes 1 full-size product per month plus samples, and the occasional surprise every now and then. The only drawback to this box is that there is not much customization involved and they only ship within the USA. Everyone gets the same thing and each month features one “hero” product/brand. All of that considered, Beauty Heroes diligently selects only the best of the best to share with its members.

Love Lula; £12.50/Month (approx. $16 USD)

Love Lula’s beauty box is a great option because it’s both affordable and available to anyone, worldwide. The cool thing about the Love Lula Beauty Box is that they offer the chance to discover a number of natural British and European beauty brands at an affordable price. The downsides to this box are that they charge an additional £5 to each box (so no free shipping here) and anyone outside the UK can only subscribe to their 3 month or annual plans (no refunds on these either). The boxes include a nice selection of samples, travel size items, and, usually, at least 1 full size product.

Petit Vour; $15/Month

Petit Vour is an awesome natural beauty box, especially if you happen to be vegan. It’s very affordable and specifically offer non-toxic, cruelty-free and vegan products in each box so you never have to feel guilty about these boxes. The main benefit to Petit Vour is that they offer a great way to discover cruelty-free and vegan products. If you’re just starting out with a new vegan lifestyle, this is a great way to expand your vegan beauty collection. The box was founded on the notion of “petit four,” French for small bites (referring to appetizers), so expect the majority of products being sample/travel sizes, with occasional full-size products every few months. If your goal is focusing to be 100% vegan and cruelty-free, this is a great monthly box option.

Esthoria Box; $69 Every Other Month

The Esthoria Box is pricier than the other options, but it’s also only every other month so you won’t feel overwhelmed by product. Each bi-monthly box includes 2-3 full size products (no samples here!) for members. The curated products are only selected from cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty brands, and normally include popular brands. If your goal is to build up your collection of natural beauty products, this is a great way to take the guesswork out of shopping. Obviously, the drawback with the Esthoria Box is the high price tag, but it might just be worth it if you don’t want to go through the hassle of shopping for beauty products yourself.
